The Richard West Assistive Technology Advocacy Center (ATAC) of Disability Rights New Jersey (DRNJ) serves as New Jersey’s federally funded assistive technology project through a sub-contract with New Jersey’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Its purpose is to assist individuals across New Jersey in overcoming barriers in the system and making assistive technology more accessible to individuals with disabilities throughout the state of New Jersey.

ATAC provides a list of resources for free apps/software and strategies during the COVID-19 crisis.

 

Upcoming Events

Every Monday starting Monday March 16th until the end of May, there will be a Town Hall meeting made up with experts in the field  to discuss remote instruction and AT supports.  

Every Friday ATAC will host an Open House starting March 20th until the end of May where anyone can ask questions about AT, remote learning and discuss challenges they are experiencing during this time.
